So, I love this about you. I offered to help you get your pictures up and, even though you don't even want to blog and are only doing it to appease me, you insisted on doing it yourself - I think your words were "if I am going to do it, I have to do it myself". Never one for the easy road - it has always impressed me.
Amount of time spent figuring out which service even does slideshows: 1/2 day
Amount of time spent actually getting said slideshow up and running: 1/2 day
Number of times you wanted to pull both of our hair out while you tried to get this all organized: 18
Value of pictures to aunt who lives way too far away and doesn't get to see her beautiful nieces grow up: Priceless
Greg got his hands on your playlist, didn't he? Bruce Springsteen? Chris Isaak? It had to be him. Tell him my friend Lindsey's husband blogs and it is really a cool site...I know Greg can't bear the thought of doing anything we do but he would be good at it (and then you could have your playlist back :). Tell him to check out http://dailyrebuttal.blogspot.com/ for the 'manly' version of a blog. Plus, if he started blogging, I could leave totally obnoxious comments on his site too.
My girls loved your blog! They are bugging my to start our own personal family blog, not just the McCasline one. Maybe if Corbie called my...We'll see...maybe by the fall I will get to it. You know how long it took me to make the switch to 12x12:) Good work! Jamie
You can offer my blog set-up services to Jamie...Once you tell her how quick I can slap some music and pictures (and if I'm feeling really generous, Grateful Dead dancing bears) on one of these bad boys, she may realize fall is too low of a bar for her to set. :)
Yep, it's me again - commenting on the same post about nothing that has anything to do with your post (though let me reiterate that you look stunning in the 'morning' photo and the girls are darling as ever). Anyhow, I was just thinking how nice it was of you to put me in your 'blog list' where people can just click on my blog with one touch because, let's face it, my humor is irreverent, and you know upstanding people in your community (and even occasionally are one yourself) and I was just thinking how unconditionally loving of you to not care about any of that. Seriously...it's like that saying 'love me, love my dog' only in your case it is 'love me, love my friend who acts like a dog' or something like that...I couldn't exactly get the wording right on that one.
OK Marti, I just have to comment because to tell you the truth, I have been waiting for Corbie to set your blog up herself (her marvelous talent, have you seen my sister's!)and I am so impressed that you insisted on doing it yourself. I love that!! Thank you because I really did want to see your girls and they really are so beautiful and so you!
I see what you've done here. You've started writing your posts over on the right side of your blog because those don't allow for comments. Hmm...I wonder who you are afraid will comment? It couldn't be your comment-happy friend from up north could it? Well, I'd like to say I plan to stop but you'll just have to get a restraining order if you don't want to read my little gems. I have things to say...particularly to you and about you. So, please start righting on the left side again - you know this imbalance messes with my OCD and now you have me counting and stepping and trying to balance things out.
Yes, it is true, you found me out. Actually I was trying to be creative and come up with something cool to make a list out of. But who am I kidding trying to make lists, I mean who do I think I am making a favorites list?
Most importantly, for the very first time in my life, I wrote 'writing' as 'righting' on the above comment. In my defense, I think it was because I was talking about right and left as I typed it but,,,alas...there is no real excuse for this type of mediocrity. Feel free to mock me at all turns - particularly in public.
Want to know something else I love about you? The way you don't cave to peer pressure to actually update your blog in any fashion, Way to go - Mard. Seriously, it's impressive.
Tell Greg that if he is going to mess with your music, he could have at least left it set to random shuffle so we could actually hear some of his groovy tunes instead of the song about how James Blunt thinks I'm hot over and over.
I love the girl's new hair cuts! And the pictures of them at Rachelle's wedding are darling! Tell them hi for me, hope to see you soon! Oh, and thanks again for Caleb's presemt. I'm still a little slow at getting the notes out, but there is one coming your way!

The sadest part and needs much more mocking, is the fact that I didn't notice.

Your family is beautiful, thank you for sharing.
